As a few people will rember I had the chance to offer a draft of young birds from steve a good friend for 15 years and for the lucky people who bought the 30 young birds you got a bargin I dont recomend pigeons that are not good enough andto prove my point, Steve Burditt is one of the best flyers and breeders ive had the plasure to know having won an R.P.R.A AWARD in pas years ,and other very good prizes since this year and in the post six weeks Steve hasent been out of the top ten of the fed and last week won 1st club.1st fed,1st combine falaise with a yearling cock on steves own stile of widowhood this cock has put up some great perfomances this year and more to come late this week with a photo of the said cock,well done steve…….
I will try a arange a round of young birds from steve next year for you to buy for his stock and great race team…..

Dew to on going transporter problems(pic below) this is only the second race of the season…

The birds were basketed at the fed head quarters on firday night and libed in a west wind with showers on rouite the winning vel was 1467.296 so as you can see thay came very steedy!It was a clean sweep in the club with Johnston & son taking the first seven in the club all 2008 cocks flown on widowhood flying very well the first birds is a Leo van Rijn so was the second and the next was a grondaler….well done boys that’s some flying in anyone’s books….roll on next week
lets hope the transporter is back on the road and keeps going for the rest of the year….

Before this weeks result im going to stick out my neck and say the wind when libed might be right but on route the must have been some south in it with vel’s a cross the country in the 1.700…almost a mile a minuite….

This is the first race for the club dew to on going transporter problems for the South Yorkshire fed this is also my new club and my first club report for them so this is going to have a spot each week on the web page !
The winning race vels were 1563.79 so on both sides of the uk birds were flying around the same sort of speeds.
I have no old birds and went to watch T.Jobes (Also known as Tick) birds come, his first bird came with the winners but its ETS ring was missing and had been hung up some were? hard line mate!
